Great disc golf 27-29holes. All wooded shots, great fairways, distances 200'-350'. Didn't stay in a cabin, but would definitely consider it with a group.
Came here the first time in 2009 and always try to make sure I have time every chance I get to come up here to squeeze in a quick round here as my cabin is only about 12 minutes away. It's been said already multiple times but everything here is top notch. The vibe is super laid back and very homey. I've never stayed at a cabin but I've heard they're quaint. The pro shop has an amazing selection of discs but more importantly, bug spray because if you play here in the summer, you are going to need it. Oh yea, the disc golf. There's 27 holes with two more occasionally open as they are by the lake. If you get a chance to play them all, you will definitely want to try to squeeze in a second round if you have the energy. The holes here are 98% wooded with only a few in the open. Just do yourself a favor and make that trip up here this summer. You won't regret it.
Disc golf heaven. My friend group has gotten older and scattered all over the country now, but we make an effort to get together at Sandy Point once a year to see each other and play one of the best courses! Cabins are also great, and so is the lake! The free resort kayaks are a blast. The owners are truly wholesome people. You couldn't ask for a better "up north" location. Photos from fall '23.
An absolutely gorgeous piece of property! The disc golf course was a blast to play, well set up and in great condition. The cabin we stayed in was really sweet and stocked beyond expectations. The owner and grounds crew were very friendly and helpful. Huge 2 thumbs up!
